This is to announce that Guangdong is to solicit the slogan around the world so as to make Guangdong's participation to the Expo 2010 Shanghai, a successful and remarkable activity. The solicication is organized by the Office of the Leading Group of Guangdong's Participation of Expo 2010 Shanghai, the News Office of Guangdong Provincial Government and the CCPIT Guangdong Branch.

The solicitation starts from March 3 and ends at 18:00 June 15, 2008 (Beijing Time).

The details are as follow:

The participating Slogan should be an embodiment of the concept of "Better City, Better Life" and Guangdong's unique cultural background  "Generosity, Harmony, Energy and Enterprising" as its highlight.

The Slogan should reflect the internationalization process.

The Slogan should be easy to read and remember, and can be understood and shared by people from different cultures.

The Slogan should be emotional and inspiring, and within 16 Chinese characters.

The Slogan idea should be original and the solicitor should have the full copyright.

The panel members of the solicication are not qualified for submitting participating slogans.

The Participating Slogans can be submitted through SMS, mail, EMS or related pages of the official website.

The preliminary selection would be conducted by a special panel. The second round would be SMS and online vote. And the winning slogan/slogans would be submitted to the Office of the Leading Group of Guangdong's Participation of Expo 2010 Shanghai for final selection.

All the disputes regarding the Campaign shall be governed and construed by the law of the People's Republic of China.  The Office of the Leading Group of Guangdong's Participation of Expo 2010 Shanghai reserves the right of final interpretation of the Campaign.
