Nigeria will rent a 500-square-meter pavilion for its Expo 2010 exhibition themed "Our Cities: Harmony in Diversity."
A delegation headed by L.N. Awute, a senior official with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in Nigeria and Eric A. Bell-Gam, the country's commissioner general for Expo 2010 and consul general of Nigeria in Shanghai, today handed over Nigeria's Expo theme statement to the organizer.
August 21 will be Nigeria Pavilion's national day, Nigerian officials confirmed.
Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, hoped the African country would present a splendid exhibition and promised every support for participants.
