The latest "Shanghai World Expo" Magazine features an article of Guangdong's preparatory work for the gala, written by Vice Governor Wan Qingliang of Guangdong province.

Since last November, the provinces and regions in China have speeded up their preparation for the event. And Guangdong has launched its official website and has asked the public to submit schemes for theme slogan.

Wang Said Guangdong is now sparing no effort for the preparation for and participation of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, on which the province will showcase its past and present as well as forecast its future development.
