Guangdong News Office, Guangdong Construction Department and CCPIT Guangdong Sub Council had a meeting on plans and works related to Guangdong's self promotion during Shanghai World Expo in 2010 on August 14. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Mo Gaoyi, Executive Vice Director of Guangdong News Office and the Director of News and Publicity Unit of Guangdong's participation to Shanghai World Expo.

According to the meeting, the "Guangdong's participation to Shanghai World Expo VI design competition" and the "Guangdong Brands" Photo Album editing work would start in August. And plans for a series of promotion were polished with the budget trimmed, saving over 7 million RMB.
