On May 25, Guangdong Provincial Government had a meeting on Guangdong at the Urban Best Practice Area of World Expo Shanghai 2010.

Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan and Zhongshan from Guangdong have been selected to display five of their innovative solutions to waterway, environmental protection and other local urban problems in the expo.

The cities had applied for the third category of exhibitions that will run for a shorter period of one to 10 days during the Expo instead of six months. The agenda for their exhibition are not released yet.

The officials urged the participating cities to enhance coordination and polish their schemes in the coming months.
